1) Prima hartă corespunde postului anterior. Albastru = cel puțin 75%, verde = 50-74%, galben = 25-49%, portocaliu = 10-24%. Linii negre = zona de puternică maghiarizare ( sec. XIX-XX ), cu pop. maghiarofone ne-maghiare. Se remarcă pop. magh. masivă din sud-vestul și sudul jud. Satu Mare / Sătmar, care se continuă în nordul jud. Sălaj și nord-vestul jud. Bihor. Pentru Ucraina lipsesc datele pentru etnie la nivel de localitate.

1) This is the map that corresponds to the preceding post. Blue = at least 75%, green = 50-74%, yellow = 25-49%, orange = 10-24%. Black lines = the area of strong Magyarisation ( 19th and 20th c. ), with Hungarian-speaking non-ethnically Hungarian populations. One notices the massive Hungarian population in southwestern and southern County Satu Mare / Sătmar / Szatmár, which continues the one in northern County Sălaj / Szilágy and northern County Bihor / Bihar. I have added the Hungarian-speaking population of Ukrainian rayons Vynohradiv / Nagyszőllős ( from former Hungarian county Ugocea / Ugocsa ), Khust / Huszt, Tyachiv / Tecső and Rahiv / Rahó ( from former Hungarian county Maramureș / Máramaros ), according to the 2001 census ( source here ). Data for ethnicity on local community level are not forthcoming for Ukraine.
